A county wedding during COVID
I had a the pleasure of photographing James and Jane’s wedding last year, right in the thick of COVID. They had cancelled their original wedding date earlier in the year because of the pandemic, but as the the year rolled on they decided to move forward with different plans…
With family and close friends dotted all over the country and some very dear friends abroad, none of whom were unable to travel, they went about creating a virtual ceremony and party that was intimate, meaningful, playful and 100% them!
Some of the highlights included ducking and weaving through one of Brisbane’s nastiest hail storms on the way to the Registry Office, an intimate ceremony overlooking the moody sunset skies of Brisbane with all of their favourite people sharing in their ceremony, and a one-of-a-kind Flanagan Family pre-recorded, sing-a-long speech to the tune of ‘Old McDonald had a Farm’!
An incredible day to have been a part of and be able to photograph for them. Thanks for asking me Jane and James.
May your life together be full of heart-bursting love for one another until the end of your days.
